Before donating your old PC, remember to clean off your hard drive - especially confidential data - including your e-mail and address book.
Computers for Students
Email Dr. Bob Hartsell to donate your old computer. The used equipment including peripherals like a keyboard, mouse, printer, monitor, scanner, etc. is conveyed to students, churches, children's homes, and similar recipients. If the computer is not working, they can sometimes cannibalize the parts from several to make a working unit.
Computer 4 Kids Program
The UU Church Computers for Kids program refurbishes and recycles donated computers into the homes of families with children who attend area schools and do not currently have a home computer based on financial need as determined by their respective school. Parents/Guardians who receive a computer are expected to obtain internet access and utilize the online programs supported by their respective schools. Computers capable of supporting Windows XP and above will be appreciated.
To donate a computer, email Randy Flueckiger or call at 501-922-1255.
